Culver City Laundry Room
I met my client at the Palms Springs Mid Century Modern Week. I was there as a volunteer at the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) booth to give free consultations. She was with her family and was reluctant to stop in. We chatted for 10 minutes and it was then I learned about her laundry room and it’s need for an update. I gave her my card and off she went to check out the rest of the booths.
Weeks later I received an email from her indicating that she was ready to move forward with the project. Because of our brief chat and her attendance at the event I knew her home was mid century modern. I pulled a color scheme together prior to our initial consultation and was delighted that she loved the strong colors.
After talking with the client, seeing the old laundry room, measuring and fleshing out her likes, dislikes and investment amount I headed back to my office and crafted the design plan.
We worked for three weeks and then revealed the room to the client who loved it because it looked exactly like the 3D model we generated for the laundry room.
