Welcome to the One Room Challenge – The Finale.
So last week was full on stress but alas I reached the finale and I’m actually done. The wallpaper went up beautifully although I’d admit is was a rough start. NO I did not do it alone but I’m confident that I could hang paper again, on the wall, if necessary. I lay on the floor when the last piece went up and had a nirvana moment. It’s just that good.
One low point was opening the second pendant box and realizing that the rods had not been included. I had to use the remaining rods from the first pendant and therefore one rod currently hangs 6 inches higher than the other. (It’s on it’s way)
Before we get into the glory of the room I want to share 3 pictures with you to remind you of where we started, the vision I had and the in between and then we’ll dive in.
Where it all began
One Room Challenge – The Finale
When I started the project the room was a blank beige room. It had been recently vacated and there was the odd penny here and there. After sharing my vision with you and set to getting the new electrical for overhead lighting and Legrand outlets and dimmer switch.
I shared my vision with you and immediately got to work painting the dramatic Black Currant from Benjamin Moore.
Check those out.
